This was rather an unusual request – would it be possible to reduce the size of a cavernous Tote bag in all dimensions by an inch or more? When the online purchase turned up it was found to be much larger than expected so needed a trim! On the positive side, at least it wasn’t lined.

The bag was not far off 14” high with a base a little over 13” x 8” at the base.
Although well used, it was made of quality supple leather, with a two-tone effect.
Not surprisingly the base had seen better days and I doubt had ever seen any form of leather care treatment.
